PocketGuide Rome exists because the best travel advice has always come from a person, not an algorithm — someone who actually walked the street, ate at the table, and stood in the church long enough to notice what everyone else walked past.
Every guide we publish is written by a human who knows Rome on foot. No scraped listings, no generated filler, no top-ten sludge. Just careful, first-hand knowledge, shaped into something you can carry in your pocket and use at your own pace.
We’re independent, and we intend to stay that way. No hotel deals steering our picks, no sponsor deciding what you see. If a guide recommends something, it’s because it’s worth your time — and if it’s free, it’s genuinely free.
